The Xtract kept us perfectly warm in our cold climate chamber, even after we stopped pedalling. The first time we wore this out on the road in October, we had to shed the jersey we were wearing over the top.
Endura clearly expect this because you’re given a zipped pocket on the side and a small amount of reflective print. It’s heavyweight for a base layer with a high neck, while mesh underarm panels and a navel-length zip stop you melting on climbs.
Stretchy in all directions, it’s a close, comfy fit and the inner surface does a decent job of keeping the sweat level down. The Xtract is also available in a women’s cut.
