Designed specifically for downhill/freeride duties, the Diabolus bottom bracket features deep cups for extra security. 

This makes it particularly suitable for bikes using a bottom bracket-clamped chainguide, without adding significant weight. It’s compatible with Shimano and FSA too.

The downside is that Race Face bottom brackets fail faster than any other big name bearings. A tight bearing-to-axle fit makes them easy to damage and susceptible when removing/installing cranks.
