RX V-Brake Pads from Swissstop deliver fuss-free, noise-free stopping that’s as good as any rim brake we’ve tried, even with their fairly hefty price tag.

The high-performance green pads aren’t designed to last as long as Swissstop’s black or grey compounds, but the wear rate is still pretty good.

Over 20 quid is a fair whack for four brake pads, so you would expect some exceptional braking performance here. And, happily, that’s exactly what you get.

If you like to leave your braking until the last moment, or there’s a lot of you to stop, they’re deﬁnitely a worthwhile upgrade.
