Shifts smoothly, lightweight and hard-wearing

There is no Centaur chain, so it comes with a Chorus chain. This is the revised chain from 2007, featuring a narrower width of 5.9mm, and sculpted side plates to reduce weight and aid in shifting when dropping from a larger sprocket to a smaller one.

Already this has proven to be just as good as a Record chain, but for less money and without the hollow link pins for weight saving. Although not as quiet as a Shimano chain, the shifting is easily on a par and has a better wear rate.

Campagnolo states that you should use its HD Link chain tool, but as it costs more than the Chorus chain it is unlikely that anybody will use it. Take care and pay attention to keeping the links parallel when joining and you could use any good quality chain tool.
