The Oro Bianco delivers outstanding control in all conditions. The 180mm rotor power is plentiful and the soft feel is beautifully progressive and control rich.
It stayed that way right through the dyno cycle, despite some serious smoke and insane temps. Big 200 and monster 220mm rotors are also available, so you'll have no trouble in the Alps.
The bite point is adjustable via a discrete, but very stiff, knob behind the lever, and the brake and rotors come separately for easy power selection. Formula reliability has always been excellent, fitting is easy and the lever can be flipped left to right. Combined MIXXmaster clamps are available for SRAM shifters but they need juggling with Shimano Rapidfire pods.
