Stiff steering upgrade

Moulded in one piece from the tips of the dropouts to the top of the steerer, including the brake mount hole, the Edge 2.0 – rebranded as the ENVE 2.0 since we received our test sample, due to a change of company name – is a feat of composite engineering skill.

Thankfully, the fork’s performance lives up to the tech spec with small vibrations damped well and harder hits muted fantastically. The added comfort comes with only minimal loss of feedback from the tyres too, and while not the most comfortable we've tried, the Edge hits the balance of comfort and road feel perfectly.

Steering stiffness is also good, with barely a hint of flex even when being carelessly thrown into corners. A wide range of offset options means you can ensure you get the handling that you want and the lighter weight 1.0 model is available if you feel the need to shed a few grams. If you need a fork for challenging Gran Fondos or a custom built bike then this would be our pick.
