This is the most basic model in the Motivation range and is outwardly similar to the Comp version that we tested in last year's forks test, instead using some fibreglass with the carbon to save costs.
An aluminium sleeve helps to protect the fibres when driving the crown race headset component onto the fork and includes an internal expanding bung and an extra long Allen bolt to secure the front brake to the fork.
On the road they are slightly less stiff than the Look and THM forks - certainly less than their appearance would suggest - and the depth of the fork blades is such that they are certain to cause less disturbance to the flow of air than most of the other forks on test. They are available with 43mm rake and 1 1/8in steerer only.
