Fox F120 RLC QR15 (09) | $936.14
BikeRadar verdict
"Light and superbly controlled, although QR15 can’t beat a 20mm axle for stiffness"
The fork that set whole new standards for the 120mm category this year gets a stiffness boost from the excellent Shimano/Fox QR15 screw-through axle collaboration.
It’s not quite as stiff as a 20mm axle setup but it’s much stiffer than a quick-release skewer and more intuitive than RockShox's Maxle system for novice users.
It’s a beautifully controlled fork with a supple, traction-grabbing start sliding into a progressive and controlled finish to handle the big stuff.
Low-speed compression and lockout threshold adjustment gives keen tweakers plenty to play with, and reliability has proved excellent on the dozens of sets we’ve used.
