Heavy, but it's an unbeatable price for decent performance and features

Spinner have been building forks for RockShox for decades and this freeride fork is incredible value. The stroke is reasonably supple with consistent damping and useful 'Spul' externally adjustable platform compression damping.

The travel adjustment from 150-110mm means broad bike geometry compatibility too. It ramps up towards the end of its travel, so you have to wallop it to get near 150mm, but it just feels wooden rather than spiking.

Despite 35mm stanchions and the bolted 20mm axle, it's a twisty fork but it's still more accurate than most QR forks.

We'll forgive its excess weight too, considering the remarkably low price - although we were cursing the unique 'high mount' disc brake tabs, which will only fit some brakes.
