Our review
Well shaped bar which is light on the pocket and plenty stiff enough too ...

While the Race VR may not offer high end glamour, its double-butted aluminium construction performs admirably at a price that’s hard to beat.

On the shelf these benefits are hidden by understated graphics and matt anodising. But once on the bike this bar doesn’t squander an ounce of steering input or upper body power. While not a leading lightweight, the variable radius (VR) bend creates ample space for a comfortable grip, and the shape of the top smoothly transitions from lever to bar.

Double butting allows some flex to ease the harder hits, but there’s still some detectable road buzz. An absolute bargain.
