A traditional distinct Cinelli curve – tighter at the top and widening as it drops – has been brought up to date in this shallow drop version. The 130mm drop is both comfortable and easy to move onto from the hoods. As a combination, this stem and bar really shine.
The stem is good and stiff torsionally, and the bar offers just the right amount of give to take the edge off road buzz without feeling compromised in terms of stiffness. The only things we’re not keen on are the two large bolts sticking out at the steerer clamp.
