Salsa Pro Moto XC Flat 09
BikeRadar verdict
"Carbon riser width, sweep and weight without the rise or cost."
Riser bars are getting lower all the time, but Salsa have been making this super wide flatty for years.
Well it's nominally flat but it works best with a slight upturn anyway. The backsweep starts a lot earlier than on riser bars too so even the 5 degree here puts you a long way back and the 9 degree is a proper cruiser bar. The OS version gets even more pronounced 11 and 17 degrees.
Feel wise it's smoothly sprung without warping too much when you push on it and it's as light as most carbon risers for half the price. An £89.99 carbon bar is available if you want to go super light.
