Race Face have stepped up their range once again and it now includes these improved, downhill-friendly bars.
With nine degrees of rearward sweep and four degrees of upward, they feel comfortable from the outset. The 31.8mm (oversize) clamping diameter gives plenty for the stem to lock around and the weight is good at 385g.
At 710mm wide, the Diabolus bars offer plenty of leverage and the meagre 0.5in (12.5mm) rise keeps the front end nice and low, and all the better for cornering.
The finish is very high quality but some people may want a few extra milimetres in width to play around with.
