24 Bicycles Butterfly II Pedals (09) | $122.44
BikeRadar verdict
"The features of this FatBoy Slim pedal combine to give an amazing overall performance"
These foot rests have a massive, wide and concave pedaling platform, but have a very thin, parallelogram profile. The threaded pins are quite tall and stick with octopus-like tenacity to any shoe.
The pedals are hugely grippy, have great ground clearance and superb power transfer due to the size of the platform. The only drawback is the DU bushes they spin on, which aren’t as durable as bearings, and are in big bucks territory.
That said, it takes a lot to pry us away from our tried and tested favourite pedals, but these are now at the top of the pile.
