BikeRadar verdict
"Metal alternative to a Look classic."

Exustar's 101 pedals are a tough looking metal take on the Look design. They’re well finished and look good with their tough, large platform, aluminium body.
They work with Look Keo cleats, but being metal does add weight and they’re not as light as the Keo Classics. They’re £20 more than the Keos, but still offer good value for money and overall quality is high.
Inside are quality bearings and bushings, providing a smooth ride straight out of the box, and it’s all easily serviced should you need to take them apart. You’ll just need a Shimano style tool to remove the axle from the pedal body.
The release tension is fully adjustable with an Allen key, and when used with a Look cleat the stack height is kept down to 16mm, which is a bit high by some standards but still makes for good power transfer, while engaging and releasing couldn’t be easier.
