Sunline V-One Pedals Review - BikeRadar

The V-Ones from Sunline may not be the cheapest pedals on the market but if you’re on the lookout for something that can take a good hiding then they could well be for you.

They feature a beautifully machined alloy body peppered with ‘grip pyramids’ and two heights of set screws, and are incredibly stable. Coupled to a decent pair of flat-specific shoes, you can properly rip into your cranks with SPD-like confidence. The broad design and pin placement mean you’re never worried about moving your weight around or getting back on the gas.

The spindle is an oversized chromoly number coupled to some super smooth ball and needle bearings ensuring that any feedback comes from the bike and not dodgy internals. At 580g, they’re slightly heavier than their DMR and Atomlab alternatives, but pedals are a very personal thing, so don’t let that put you off.
