SDG Bel Air RL | $79.54
BikeRadar verdict
"Not particularly light but excellent stability and fair pricing"
SDG's classic saddle has now been reworked for a more comfortable look and feel. You still get the pronounced upswept rear and hooked nose for excellent stability and less chance of your shorts snagging but now there's a groove down the middle to protect your plumbing.
The padding is slightly deeper all over than it used to be too, although the broad-nosed profile is still supportive but not sweaty on long rides.
Reinforced side panels and wraparound bumpers create a very durable couch and masses of colour options are available, from plain to camo to cow print. The SL isn't particularly light, even with its titanium rails, but the pricing is fair.
