Saddles are one of the hardest products for us to review and give you more than a guide to the technical specification because the comfort level a saddle provides will vary from rider to rider. One man's lounge chair is another man's torture chamber. That said, the Bikehut Freeride saddle is all right for most. If that sounds a bit lukewarm, that's because it's meant to be. Some things about the saddle we like, others we don't.

We like the supportive but soft padding (ideal for hard landings), the steel rails (they don't bend under hard landings), the scag proof fabric sides and the plastic bumpers. However, we don't like the shape, which is too wide, especially around the nose.
