San Marco Ischia Saddle review

BikeRadar verdict
"A comfortable trail saddle that harbours secret race ambitions"
Shopping partners
The Ischia has the flat-ish profile of a more race-like saddle but with chromoly rails and a good degree of padding that means it doesn’t quite fit into that go-faster category.
It’s a very comfy ride though, with a good amount of support where it matters and a slim, well padded nose.
It’s there when you need it, but doesn’t get in the way when you need to get out of the saddle for climbing or more technical riding, and we found that it positively encourages you to make that extra effort.
Although this model is a tad too heavy to be a real thoroughbred racer, it’s speedy on the trails and is a great hard working all-rounder.

I'm only new to bicycling and my bias towards this seat maybe due to that, but I found it sort of uncomfortable. It is very sleek and his a nice, low profile, but it gets my bum a bit tired over long distances. It could be an adjustment I might have overseen or it isn't the right size. I ride a hybrid bike. I have been warming up to it lately, so maybe it's just my boney arse that's leaving me sore.
