Probably the best seat post in the world although riders who like to have their saddle far back might need to think carefully about buying this seat post due to its forward clamping design.

i use thomsons on all my bikes, mountain and road. they're tough, durable, and relatively light. and they're usually cheaper than the more expensive, less durable carbon seatposts out there. plus, because the outer skin is grooved, i don't have to worry about my seatpost sliding down my seat tube.

Beautifully machined piece of kit, has been bomb proof so far, Comparing weights, is lighter than most carbon posts out there. Easy to adjust but agree with SRS Events that as it is straight rather than laid back could be unsuitable for thoes who like their seat a long way back.

I have an old Cannondale Killer-V bike that I use for commuting to work on. Allthough the bike always gets the hand me downs from my other two bikes it`s still well looked after. So I have just purchased this seatpost for the above mentioned bike as my old "Click on " sestpost finally gave up the ghost ! My first thoughts were it looked quality. Easy to fit the saddle, light even though I purchsed the 410mm length post. I am very happy with it. So much so that if it was`nt for the fact that the diameter of the post wont fit my best bikes, it would have gone on one of them instead. I have to have the longer length to allow for the short seat tube on my bike, and it has still more than enough stem in my seat tube to give it stability. So happy with it I am going to upgrade my other two bikes with one , even though one of my other bikes is a 2010 model.
