Syncros FLT Tyre
BikeRadar verdict
"Not perfect, but a fast tyre with decent mixed condition manners"
Syncros might be off most people’s tyre radar, but it offers some useful products, including these quick and predictable FLT tyres. They're fast rolling, with decent dry/loose grip and a good corner entry but slippery when wet, cloggy in clag and skinny for their size. Worth a look if you fancy an easy-rolling change from mainstream brands.
Close-spaced tread and impressively low weight – even in this budget steel bead version – mean easy acceleration and speed maintenance, and they don’t have a real working tread edge, but they hook up reasonably well on mixed/loose terrain – particularly if it’s drier.
They’re typically nervous on wet wood, but only really claggy mud fills up the gaps and properly spoils things.
Durability is good considering they’re definitely a slim 2.0in, and pricing is totally spot-on for what you are getting for the money.
