Kenda Nevegal DTC 2.35In
BikeRadar verdict
"Consistently good all-rounder"
Nevergals have a faster feel than most with consistently reliable grip in most trail conditions. They’re not exceptional in any particular situation, but their consistency is a true boon: they perform perfectly fine most of the time.
The Nevegal is apopular choice among bike manufacturers when speccing up their choice complete bike offerings, and it’s easy to see why.
Immediate impressions are of a tyre that’s generally faster in feel than most others of its size, with easy rolling speed and decent mid-weight pick-up.
The DTC dual compound mix hooks up okay in most rooty, rocky conditions most of the year, and cornering character is consistent, too. With a ramped edge on the main blocks on one side and a flat on the other, you’ve effectively got a two-speed/two grip-level tyre too. The slower Stick E compound version is a good front option if you like to push harder, though.
In really muddy conditions it doesn’t dig in and bite as well as the Panaracer Cinder and others. It rarely clogs though, and it slides predictably and controllably when it does let go.
Lifespan and point/pinch puncture survivability is average, but the Nevegal’s pricing is good.

User review of Kenda Nevegal DTC 2.35In
Interesting that you feel it doesn't clog - I've found mine to clog horrendously in that 'starting to dry out' sticky clay we get late winter/spring. When it's very wet though clearing is less of an issue.
I sometimes run one of these on the rear with a blue groove up front - really great at dry trail centres, exceptional even!
