BikeRadar score3.5/5

Like the two Continental tyres, this Panaracer is designed with time triallists in mind. Rather than clocking miles, the emphasis is on saving weight and minimising rolling resistance. However, in our roll-down tests it was slightly more in tune with the puncture-resistant, do-it-all race tyres such as the Schwalbe Ultremo and Challenge Criterium, and a fair way off the pace of the fastest 'lite' tyres.

Its 'reinforced casing' means it's a bit tougher than the Supersonic or Pro 2 Light, but not tough enough to warrant the speed hit - especially given the performance of the even tougher Pro 2 Race. It has a 126tpi casing and the initials 'ZSG' on the tyre refer to its 'zero slip compound'. Evidently wet and dry weather grip is good, although we didn't have any problems with any of the tyres.
