Limar 747 Helmet | $77.96
BikeRadar verdict
"Valid attempt at a sleeker budget lid let down by wandering straps"
Specifically designed to be more compact than other helmets, Limar’s 747 looks and feels sleek in slimming matt black with a full in-moulded shell.
A central dial deals with retention adjustment, though we’re not keen on the exposed ends to the cradle which look untidy. An adjustable peak integrates nicely with the smooth lines of the 24 effective vents and a soft strap tidy stops ends flapping about.
Strap buckles refused to stay put in use though, and pads were rather too spongy, soaking up sweat. Fly mesh over font vents keeps wayward critters out and the tall, narrow fit is unusual enough to warrant a second look.
