Cratoni Achillon Helmet Review - BikeRadar

Cratoni uses a lovely Boa-style ratchet for its top-end lid (available in sizes S/M and L/XL). It’s snug, distributing pressure evenly around the skull, and it also eliminates the sweatiness that can appear under other cradles.

We’re surprised more manufacturers don’t use this, because it’s incredibly comfortable and also very light.

There’s still work to do on the anchor points, as we found it too easy to unclip the retention system from the shell and end up with a fiddle of straps and string on our hands.

Well worth a look if you don’t mind untangling your helmet every time you want to put it on.
