Catlike Diablo Helmet | $78
BikeRadar verdict
"Cute and compact maybe, but far too fiddly to fit"
Catlike’s MPS 3D retention system is baffling. The cradle isn’t fully fixed to the lid but instead slides up and down the straps at the back of your head.
This cuts out bulk and offers infinite opportunities to refine the fit, but also makes repeated adjustment extremely tricky indeed. It shifted every single time we removed it and had to be reset every time we tried to put it back on again.
It’s a good thing it’s a snug, comfortable lid because once we left the house for a ride we tried our damndest to avoid taking it off again before we got home.
Styling is so cute but it’s a shame that there’s no real venting at the sides, and the rattly peak needed refixing every other ride.
