MET Formula Helmet (08)
BikeRadar verdict
"A bit on the warm side, but still a great-value starter lid"
This is one solid helmet. Despite being relatively light, it feels reassuringly strong and the substantial ratchet mechanism means it’s a doddle to tweak the universal sizing.
There’s plenty of soft padding, a choice of five colours and the rounded shape will fit the majority of heads well, despite looking rather dated.
Two sizeable holes at the front of the lid will keep the crown of your head cool, but there’s a distinct shortage of vents around the sides, leading to an excess of sweat when you’re riding hard.
It's good value and worth look if price is a major consideration.
