Giro Hex Helmet | $89.49
BikeRadar verdict
"The closest thing to a comfortable women-specific trail lid"
The Hex is the baby sister of Giro's popular Xen trail lid, and shares some of the same features, including the easily-adjustable retention system and POV visor and for on-the-fly adjustments.
Styling is angular yet still rugged, and the retention system is the same Roc Loc 4 which cinches up the soft and easily adjustable nylon straps.
It dips out on some vents and is noticeably sweatier when it’s really warm, but at this price that’s to be expected.
We’ve picked this one as the girl’s choice for obvious reasons (and also because it’s available in a small size), but other colours are available.
