Cratoni Titan Helmet (08) | $109.38
BikeRadar verdict
"Highly adjustable and robust trail lid, although not exactly subtle"
The first thing we noticed about the Titan was its size. It’s a bulky, gumpy lump of a lid.
With the shell clearly visible at the edges of vision, it feels like sitting under an umbrella but it does fit shallow, saucer-shaped heads very well.
Plenty of padding means extra comfort as well as warmth, and its the same story with the venting.
More shell than air means it’s toasty but this also offers valuable additional protection, and the smooth back end means no snags should you scrape it across the trail.
The Orbit Micro Fit central dial is a breeze to operate one-handed, reeling in tough nylon cord for a snug fit.
The rubbery finish is a bit unnerving though…
