Sixsixone Straits | $59.95
BikeRadar verdict
"A svelte and superbly comfortable pad which is even cross-country compatible"
These are certainly minimalist pads – lightweight, low profile and pretty flexible.
They’re supremely comfortable, so much so it’s not unusual to see people riding cross-country in them.
The neoprene extends a good way above and below the knee for an extended protection envelope and added security.
They offer solid protection around the side of the knee and an internal plastic knee cap.
On the downside, you can’t run a shin pad with them and they offer a lower level of protection level than some others.

brougt some of these knees a few months ago. they are sweet and cosey and the long design gives more protection without having to wear a shin combo. but does anyone know if the straps go in or out? cause i se people wearing them both ways.

Tried the EVOs and settled on these instead - more comfortable and reassuring. Only downside is how hot your knees feel :)
