"Ingenious, effective and you get a separate usable knee pad"

Another unique solution to the problem of the hindering top strap on knee pads. 

A neoprene knee pad goes on first (which can be worn on its own) and the knee/shin combo velcros to it, with two additional calf straps giving it full-on lock and load. 

Protection is more than ample with the combination of the two layers and hard plastic guards. With no top strap, freedom of movement is spot on too.

However, you need to try for size first, because the small/ medium knee sock is arm sized!
