Cannondale Airport Gayle Force | $50
BikeRadar verdict
"Great value, easy to use track pump designed for women"
What's different about the Gayle Force over other track pumps is that it’s designed with women in mind. It comes with a slightly smaller diameter soft touch handle for smaller hands and has a double chambered barrel for easy pump action.
Pumping to over 100psi is certainly easier than with most track pumps. The steel feet with rubber grippers keep the pump steady underfoot when inflating and we particularly like the top mounted gauge, which makes reading the pressure a doddle. Readings are in both PSI and bar.
There are also sections on the gauge with suggested pressures for mountain, hybrid, road and high pressure tyres.
The valve head works with Schrader and Presta valves without any need for fiddly swapping around.
Though it’s aimed at women we’re sure plenty of men would happily use this despite the pretty looking logo on the barrel.
