Beto's Alloy offering features a big barrel, but this doesn't really translate into top performance. This might be because the plunger is a bit loose inside the barrel, which is evident in the amount of play at the top of the stroke.
It never struggles though, and the dual head transfers the air to the tyre without any fuss. There are metal-based pumps at this price so the plastic one here isn't particularly welcome, but at least it's got some grip and is well secured to the barrel. In use the Beto is a pretty solid performer. It has excellent reach from the hose, and the gauge is straightforward and easy to read. The wooden handle is good too.
