Wheels Manufacturing Multi Gimp | $39.99
BikeRadar verdict
"A versatile and ruggedly made bit of kit"
This multi-tool features all the gubbins you'd hope for plus a unique little extra that could be welcome in times of trouble.
Piggy-backed on the side of the Multi Gimp’s aluminium body is a universal emergency gear hanger that's a godsend should a crash or other mishap take out your bike's replaceable rear deralleur mount.
As long as you don’t have recessed dropouts and you’re running a quick-release, then this little puppy will get you or one of your riding buddies home.
Alongside the hanger is the usual run of Allen keys – 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5 and 6mm sizes – plus flathead and Phillips screwdrivers. There’s also an M25 Torx driver, which you’ll need for fitting and adjusting disc rotors or Campagnolo Record cartridge brake blocks, but there’s no spoke key.
The handle is too short to get a really firm grip on larger jobs like removing pedals, but for minor adjustments it’s fine.
