Lurking in the depths of every bag we carry is our trusty and occasionally rusty Park Tool AWS-10 multi-tool.
It has seven Allen keys in 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5 and 6mm sizes. No chain tool, Torx drive or sharp thing for getting stones from horses’ hooves – just the keys we need.
We’ve owned two of these in the past 10 years and they’ve outlasted any other multi-tool we’ve ever owned. We lost one on a ride in Wales, hence buying the second – but if we still had the original, it would have been going strong.
The keys are well made, reluctant to round off and can be adjusted to be easier/harder to deploy with a 4mm Allen key.
