Lengthy periods spent on a bike seat have often been associated with penile numbness due to the pressure exerted on blood vessels and nerves within the perineum, but there are other schools of thought on effective solutions. Training manuals stress a number of techniques to stop problems arising in the first place such as periodically standing on the pedals to relieve pressure, sloping the saddle forward and wearing padded cycling shorts.

Noseless Saddles
What a Lot of Codswallop
I lived and Raced on the Old Brooks Saddles in my Youth, Stil Riding and Racing at 76
I had 3 Children,
One friend has 7 and another has 4
Where do they get these statistics from ?

The US cops would surely be more concerned with where the nearest Dunkin Donuts is rather than how comfy their saddles are?

Thank you Nosmo, (does that stand for "no sympathy for many others"?) I am pleased that you and your virile friends have had no problems in this area. I have had severe problems with my prostate exacerbated by bike saddles but now ride comfortably and pain free on my Rido saddle see www.rido-cyclesaddles.com/. I would recomend them to anyone except nosmo of course.
