Rudy Project Rydon | $169.99
BikeRadar verdict
"The right side of £100 for adjustable, light frames with excellent lenses"
The adjustable temples and nose bridge meant every tester was able to get these to fit perfectly – quite a task to accomplish so easily.
Compatible with clip-in prescription inserts, our test shades came fitted with the ImpactX photochromic lens that proved tough, flexible, and reactive to changes in light.
If you have shallow cheek bones you might find the bottom edge of the lens is a little too far from your face though, so it’s best to try on before you buy with these.
In terms of performance and adjustability though, they’re up there with the best.

User review of Rudy Project Rydon
Bought these with photochromix lens (the ones that change from clear to shaded in sunny conditions). They were rather tricky to fit my face at first, but once sorted they fit lovely. The lens are absolutely wonderful - very clear, the depth perception is superb in dusk and dawn, while is extremely sunny conditions the UV filtering is great.
The lens are easy to remove/fit and being lightweight, they don't slip down your nose when your hot. They don't steam up very easily and when they do they demist just as fast. The lens are supposed to be almost indestructable, something that stopped me in the past buying expensive glasses. Scratchproof and chip proof - they are worth the price just for the protection they provide.
