Adidas Trail Shorts | $48
BikeRadar verdict
"Value short that’s best suited to leisure rather than technical riding"
An integral (sewn-in) liner with good quality pad makes for an instant comfort hit when your bum finds the saddle.
But for true technical mountain biking use we found the outer shell wanting. The stretch panel at the back is well placed and keeps everything pretty happy at the rear, but the front has no shape and just doesn’t sit at all well. Furthermore, the fabric felt just the tiniest bit too flimsy to give us confidence.
But that said, the price is great value and if you’re looking for a comfortable tracks’n’trails or commute short this will definitely do the job and will also leave you some pennies to spare in the process. That can’t be bad.
