"Big shorts with plenty of comfort. Not great in the wet, though"

These are among the most roomy shorts around, especially if you have the zipped air vents open, but they fit closely so there’s no snagging when you get off the back of the saddle. 

The mid-weight nylon fabric holds water more readily than some and there’s a lot of it, so these aren’t the best option in the wet.
