Oval Concepts JetStream A900 Time Trial | £314.99
BikeRadar verdict
"This is probably the fastest fork you can buy; one for serious racers"
The JetStream's fork blades are right on the maximum permissible depth-to-width ratio of 3:1, set down for UCI sanctioned events, although such restrictions are of little consequence to club riders.
Tests carried out in 2003 in the Texas A&M wind tunnel showed them to be an effective aerodynamic aid in a time trial where they were compared with forks by Reynolds and Kestrel.
They flex more than some others, but are still stable in a strong crosswind. The 1in version is good news for older-style time trial bikes that are still in service. There's even a version to suit 650c wheels. Includes a long brake nut.
