Hope Technology SPXC3 Wheelset
BikeRadar verdict
"Bit flexy and potential replacement worries, but light and very long lived"
Hope’s latest SPXC3 wheels are their lightest ever. They have tough DT XR4.2D rims, but with only 24 straight pull spokes either end. This drops weight dramatically, although there’s noticeable flex under heavier riders.
The quick release-only hubs use the same excellent, proven seals and stainless bearings as the Pro 3 hubs, but with unique three arm rotors supplied ‘free’. Based on two 160mm rotors this saves up to 80g against six bolts or XTR Centerlock, making them impressively light for the price.
There are replacement downsides, but Hope customer service is exemplary in the UK and standard six-bolt Pro 3 SP wheels (1,645g) are available.

User review of Hope Technology SPXC3 Wheelset
Any chance that the 3-arm rotor hubs will be available on their own? They make a fantastic wheelset laced into a set of Stans tubeless rims.
