Revolution Tune Up tool kit | £24.95
BikeRadar verdict
"Space-saving but lacks cable cutters"
Edinburgh's Revolution tool kit conveniently hangs on the wall, and incorporates twin compartments for screws and the like. The kit includes the obligatory chain splitter, 14mm socket for removing chainsets from older style bikes, and even a 'mushroom' adaptor for removing cranks from Shimano Octalink 1 cranks.
The grip on the interchangeable-bit screwdriver is a little small but adequate for gear adjustments, but the 'Y' Allen key is too long to secure brake bolts, the spoke key slips on stubborn nipples, and the cone spanners aren't hardened so the edges round off with hard use.
Despite these niggles, it's a great value bundle – it would cost you a lot more to buy these tools individually.
