By BikeRadar

The Dairyland 24 Hours of Nine Mile takes place in Wausau’s Nine Mile County Forest on August 2-3. More than nine hundred mountain bike riders from across the United States and Canada are expected to participate.

This year’s event marks the tenth anniversary of 24-9, and the third year the event is host to the 2008 USA Cycling 24-Hour Mountain Bike Nationals.

A record number of riders are expected including current and former national champions vying for top honours. In addition to the six national championship categories, twenty non-national championship categories will be up for grabs. These include team and solo events in the 12-hour and 24-hour categories.
