Round two of the National Points Series takes place this weekend on Saturday May 17, followed by the British National Championships on Sunday May 18 at The Edge Activity Centre, Bridgnorth Shropshire.

Race organisers have been working on the track which is shaping up to be very quick with massive berms and big jumps. Current National 4X champion Dale Holmes is flying in from America to defend his British National title. Other riders confirmed include Scott Beaumont (Current Series Champion), Will Longden (06 National Champion), and Martin Ogden (Series Champion 06).

Practice is from 10.00am to midday on Saturday, racing starts at 12.30pm

The British National Championships take place on Sunday – the winner of the Senior race will represent Britain at the Mountain Bike World Championships at Val Di Sole in Italy on June 19.

There’s a large spectator area with a full view of the whole course, as well as a large car park, hot and cold food, refreshments and toilets on site.
