4X National Points Series report
A sunny day and a great crowd greeted the UK's top 4X riders for round five of the National Points series, held at the fantastic Redhill track near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire at the weekend.

The smooth, fast track is littered with an array of technical jumps and despite having very few corners it created some of the best racing in the series so far. The crowd were treated to race after race full of action, with multiple passes and challenges for the lead in every single heat, and final.
The tricky grass turn into the finish line caught out many riders as rain from the previous day made it slick. Caution was needed but couldn't always be spared with such close quarters racing.
Will Longden said: “It's
been a great weekend, good racing and a fun track. It's good to see more people
trying out 4X, the tracks for the National Series have improved so much over
the last few years that racing in the
Scott Beaumont said:
"I felt good today, I trained hard specifically for 4X before the World
Champs and that form seems to be rolling on now which is great for the next few
World Cups coming up in
