Andreu Lacondeguy lands backflip jump from a snowboard ramp
Spanish Kona-riding mentallist Andreu Lacondeguy has landed the first ever backflip from a snowboard “big air ramp“ on a mountain bike. In front of 7,000 screaming spectators during the Snowboard Big Air World Cup in Graz, Lacondeguy landed the backflip after only one recce the day before. Hurtling down the same ramp as the snowboarders use, he jumped about six metres in height over a distance of twenty metres.
After the jump he said: ”I was a little bit nervous on the start. I never rode snowboard jumps before and I was not really sure if it would work out. That was the first event of the year for me and I did my biggest backflip ever. That is just amazing for me!”

I was expecting you to do it - you've disappointed me.
