Cycles is holding a Ride It! Event on the May 17 and 18 in
The rides are suitable for all abilities and are organised to take the hassle out of plotting your own route – you can just get out and pedal.
Saturday is the off-road ride, taking in local bridleways and byways with short (15 miles), medium (25 miles) and long (35 miles) route options. The off-road route takes in the twisting singletrack at Chopwell Woods, as well as other cycle trails and quiet lanes which provide stunning views of the valleys.
Sunday is the road ride, which leaves the Evans store and
heads north via some fantastic twisting, undulating, quiet lanes nestled in
beautiful countryside. Passing some lovely

Route options available at this venue are:
- Fun – 15 miles
- Short – 30 miles
- Medium – 60 miles
- Long – 90 miles
Every ride includes:
- Pre-marked routes for all abilities
- Free Memory Map OS map for each rider
- Free SIS energy food & drink
- Free kids entry
- Mechanical service
Adult entry is £10 per rider. Entries can be purchased on the Evans Cycles website at www.evanscycles.com/rideit and are also taken on the day (subject to a £2.50 surcharge)

Gore Bike Wear try before you buy service at Ride It!
Gore Bike Wear will be at the event with their try before you buy service – offering riders their choice of hundreds of Windstopper and GoreTex garments to use for the ride. This service is free of charge to all Ride It! riders
