By Matthew Cole

The Cliffhanger outdoor pursuits festival takes place in Sheffield’s Millhouses Park on the weekend of July 12 and 13.

The weekend is packed full of activities, exhibitions, demonstrations and challenges that you can get involved in, including guided mountain bike rides, the “Timber Trail” – a North-Shore style wooden trail, kayaking, parkour, slack-lining and more.

Co-organiser Matt Heason said: “Cliffhanger aims to not only deliver the goods, but exceed all expectations. There’s simply nothing like it on this scale anywhere else in the country – visitors are going to be blown away by the event.”

Other highlights include thirty tonnes of real snow for skiers and snow boarders, climbing walls, scuba diving sessions, and a skateboarding competition.

Tickets cost £5 for adults and children under sixteen get in free.
