Red Bull Foxhunt 2014 with Rachel Atherton

Ladies, can you beat the best?

Red Bull has announced details of this year's Foxhunt event – a unique challenge that pitches 200 competitors in a mass-start race against a pursuing professional rider.

Playing the fox this year is none other than the fastest female downhill rider out there, current UCI downhill mountain bike World Cup Champ and World Champion, Rachel Atherton.

Stepping up to the the reversed role of the hounds will be 200 female competitors, each attempting to be the first to cross the finish line of the purpose-built track in the Pentland Hills, Edinburgh.

Entries for the event, due to take place over the weekend of 27 to 28 September, are now open at the Red Bull Foxhunt website.
