Rough Ride boasts a laid back atmosphere
This year’s UK Marin Rough Ride will take place on Sunday, June 8 - a week later than normal.
For this,
the sixth year, Marin has returned as main sponsors and will be be providing
spot prizes and a test fleet of bikes which will be available from Saturday
lunchtime onwards. This popular
event is a great ride across the open hills of the Welsh borders and attracts

each year, but which never uses forest paths. Instead the
route takes in moorland tracks, opened just for this one event by express

The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming, with friendly, helpful marshals and a campsite, above the tiny market town of Kington on the Welsh border, that offers wonderful views of the surrounding hills.
